The Everywhere and Forever Chemicals
PFAS Cost Recovery Program
Deadline Approaching
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of man-made chemicals that have been used in various products for decades. Despite their wide usage, PFAS have come under scrutiny for their persistence in the environment and potential health risks.
Under the terms of the agreement, DuPont, Chemours, and Corteva acknowledge their role in the PFAS contamination crisis and must provide financial compensation for the cost of treatment necessary to address the contamination their ‘forever chemicals’ caused. If your utility has any detections of PFAS, let us help you file a complaint immediately to benefit from any impending settlement. Even if your utility hasn’t tested yet, please register so you do not miss out on any potential future benefits.

What Is the Settlement?
Ensuring Every Drop You Consume is as Pure as It Should Be.
These man-made “forever compounds” are now in the environment and in items we come into contact with daily. The primary sources of contamination of water sources are airports, military bases, firefighting or fire training facilities, landfills, and manufacturing. Subsequent contamination has been identified from the spreading of wastewater bio-solids.

$12.5 Billion Settlement with 3M Company
Napoli Shkolnik, along with Plaintiffs’ Co-Lead and Interim Class Counsel, is proud to announce a $12.5 billion settlement with 3M Company in the ongoing multi-district litigation over the contamination of drinking water with toxic per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (“PFAS”)
resulting from the widespread use of aqueous film-forming foam (“AFFF”). This historic class action settlement agreement resolves the claims of Public Water Systems across the country that have been impacted by actual or threatened contamination of their water systems with PFAS.
$1.185 Billion Settlement with Dupont, Chemours, Corteva
Napoli Shkolnik is pleased to announce a major breakthrough in the pursuit of justice for water providers and their communities affected by PFAS contamination in the United States. Working diligently alongside our co-leads, we have successfully settled the material terms with defendants DuPont, Chemours, and Corteva regarding their responsibility for the PFAS contamination of public water systems and the associated costs of treatment.
Under the terms of the agreement, DuPont, Chemours, and Corteva acknowledge their role in the PFAS contamination crisis and must provide financial compensation for the cost of treatment necessary to address the contamination their ‘forever chemicals’ caused.
Industries
Why SafeWater Tech?
Safewater Technologies LLC personnel have been solving contaminated water issues since the 1990s with treatment system design, and build, and operations. The company’s remediation specialist served as a global remediation manager for a global corporation investigating and remediating PFAS over the last 8 years.
Safewater is experienced with the strict sampling protocols required to achieve reliable data. Since the laboratory detection limits (and corresponding pending regulatory limits) are extremely low (parts per trillion), strict adherence to these protocols is necessary to obtain quality and reliable data for decision makers. The protocols even restrict the water sampling teams’ activities the day before sampling to limit potential cross contamination of water samples. The sample team activities the day before sampling, PPE, equipment, and sample equipment are stringently controlled.
